Family hiking with various levels of difficulty, adventurous wild-water rafting, horse trekking or calm fishing… The “Valle Aurina” valley offers various activities for all family members.
The fantastic landscape of the nature park “Rieserferner-Ahrn” offers 60km of hiking trails for mountain-lovers and especially for families. On the website of the tourism association “Valle Aurina” you can find a with family-friendly hikes, accessible also with trollies: for example hiking at Klausberg – or our special tip – the “Hexensteig”, a beautiful trail and part of the “Ahrntaler Sonnenwege”.
You can explore nature also via water with rafting, canyoning and kayaking. Your family can enjoy also an exciting horse trekking weekend, and horse carriage trips. More information you can find at the horse rances in S.Giacomo e Lutago.
If you are searching for a more relaxing activity, you can try fishing at the pond “Thara” in Caminata di Tures. A fishing license is not necessary.
